A pub with a Zoo in Rochester

The Fenn Bell is very proud to hold Medway’s first zoo licence.
All our animals you see here have come through rescue or from other zoos.

We aim to give these animals a safe and enriching environment to live in. We are very proud of what we have built here at the Fenn Bell and do lots of work with schools on educating youngsters on these animals.

The Fenn Bell Conservation Project was started with two Kune Kune pigs, Ginger and Spice. Seeing an add on the internet I fell in love with them and decided to bring them home to meet the wife. Little did I know how taking these two pigs on would change my life and open up a whole new world for me.

Fast forward to today and we have achieved so much. We have lots of local schools visit us to learn about the animals and the natural world. We are now working with Hadlow and Mid-Kent college with their animal management students helping to produce the next generation of zookeepers and conservation warriors.

The Fenn Bell Conservation Project is located in Allhallows in Medway, Kent. We are open from 10am to 5.00pm between April 1st to October 31st, and from 10am to 5.00pm between November 1st to March 31st. To see what days we are open please visit our booking page.
